This is a week of intensive personalised climbing coaching in one of the world's best bouldering areas. There is no better way to improve your climbing than by getting out on real rock, so why not do it in a fun, motivating atmosphere, with a small group of focussed individuals all willing to challenge themselves to improve their climbing.
If you are a climber looking to move past a plateau and are motivated to do something about it, then this trip is for you. The only prerequisites are that you have been climbing for a minimum of 1 year and are fully aware of the essentials of outdoor bouldering (falling safely, spotting, padding landings, risk assessment). This is to ensure that all of the group are safe, responsible climbers and also to allow us to choose sectors and specific problems appropriate to the entire groups level and abilities. This trip will be most beneficial for climbers (guys and girls) whose maximum redpoint grade is between 6B and 7B.
I'm really excited about working with my better half John Howard to help deliver a week of climbing coaching, and of course yoga for those who want to try it out.

This is where I work and what I do when I'm not teaching yoga. Rock climbing has so much in common with a yoga practice. Personally I don't see them as two separate activities, but as an extension of each other. The fun of movement, staying present in the moment and completely focusing the mind and breath. Stepping out of your comfort zone in order to expand it and gain a fresh perspective on things. Both climbing and yoga have been so important to me since I began both of them, and I might never have tried yoga if it hadn't been for my stiff climbing shoulders!
This might inspire you to give climbing a go, but even if it doesn't, I hope it reminds you to keep trying things that bring you out of your comfort zone, whether it's a new yoga posture or starting a new hobby or embarking on an adventure.
